Records include inventories of buildings purchased, telephone lines erected; construction of truck trails, bridges, and horse trails, and look-out towers; blueprints for look-out towers; photographs; monthly project progress reports; maps; and correspondence. Subjects include CCC, work projects, road construction, fire-fighting, creation of the Emergency Conservation Work (ECW) program in Oregon, and CCC work camps.

The Emergency Conservation Work (March 31, 1933 - Jan. 1, 1942; renamed, Civilian Conservation Corps in 1937) was just one of the many relief programs established by President Franklin D.
